Our Vision
The Caledon Residents and Ratepayers Association (CRPA) envisions a diverse and inclusive community. We strive for efficient and equitable delivery of services, ensuring all residents can live with dignity and work together in harmony.
Moreover, we dedicate ourselves to addressing and resolving community issues through collaborative efforts. By fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility, we empower residents to engage actively.
Furthermore, we actively engage with local authorities and stakeholders to cultivate a supportive environment that ensures everyone hears concerns and benefits from effective solutions

What is CRPA ?
The Caledon Residents and Ratepayers Association (CRPA) operates as a non-political, non-profit civil society organization. We commit to the sustainable development of Caledon while advocating for residents' and ratepayers' interests, particularly regarding quality municipal services in exchange for rates paid. CRPA is governed by a voluntary Executive Committee, which acts as the representative body for "the South" of the Theewaterskloof (TWK) Municipality.
We actively collaborate with the TWK Local Municipality, other relevant government bodies, and appointed organizations such as SAPS. Additionally, we maintain strong ties with Ward Councillors, Neighbourhood Watches, and various local, provincial, and national entities.
Membership in CRPA is open to any resident or ratepayer within the TWK Municipality, including residential estates, which is defined by the TWK Municipality's geographic boundaries. CRPA represents roughly 30,000 households across wards 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Membership requests from outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Our members are active, engaged citizens who are passionate about their community. If you would like to know more about us, you can connect with our members through the CRPA platform. They use their collective influence to drive positive change. Furthermore, members receive vital information and in-depth analysis of municipal financial affairs, performance reports, and Council matters through email, WhatsApp, our website, and social media channels.
We are continuously expanding our expertise by encouraging members to join our Executive Committee and various specialised subcommittees. To get involved, please reach out to us at info@crpa.co.za.
